I have no disks for my IBM ThinkPad T42, and want to know how to create a recovery disk should anything go wrong with my system. I know you can do it with most computers now as they don't supply the disks in the box you have to make it yourself. Is this possible with an IBM? Thank you! Answered by vlj2002 - Mon Nov 2 23:36:12 2009 How do i gain a secured wireless connection on an IBM think pad model T42?
Q. I have a Belkin G wireless router, my mom and i both have our own laptops. Mine (Sony Vaio) is connected directly to the Comcast Modem/Router (since i don't have a built-in wireless card). My mom however has an IBM think pad laptop and it has a built-in wireless card, but it will only connect if i disable the WPA/WPA2 security. There should be a manual with the router (most likely on CD that can walk you through it). Security is often missed by many, the router works by default out of the box with no security (the admin password on the web page is not security). First thing to do is secure it. Set the security on the router to the highest that both can support. Then use the same setting on anything else you want to connect (including games consoles - wii etc) Answered by dublklik - Mon Jul 13 22:32:38 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "IBM" IBM exec Francis U.
