International Business Machines (IBM) (NYSE: IBM) is a multinational computer, technology and IT consulting corporation headquartered in Armonk, North Castle, New York, United States. IBM is the world's fourth largest technology company and the second most valuable by global brand (after Coca-Cola). IBM is one of the few information technology companies with a continuous history dating back to the 19th century. IBM manufactures and sells computer hardware and software (with a focus on the latter), and offers infrastructure services, hosting services, and consulting services in areas ranging from mainframe computers to nanotechnology. I have no disks for my IBM ThinkPad T42, and want to know how to create a recovery disk should anything go wrong with my system. Q. I have a Belkin G wireless router, my mom and i both have our own laptops. Mine (Sony Vaio) is connected directly to the Comcast Modem/Router (since i don't have a built-in wireless card). My mom however has an IBM think pad laptop and it has a built-in wireless card, but it will only connect if i disable the WPA/WPA2 security. There should be a manual with the router (most likely on CD that can walk you through it). Security is often missed by many, the router works by default out of the box with no security (the admin password on the web page is not security). First thing to do is secure it. Set the security on the router to the highest that both can support.
