I don't much about beer. Does Bass Pale Ale have a good reputation?

Besides Bass, what is a good beer on tap to make a "Black and Tan"?
Q. The beer distributor in the area no longer carries Bass, Bevmo doesn't carry it. So besides Harp--- what other beers will layer and taste great in a "Black and Tan" ; Beer available in keg only please. I know i put down Harp--- Harp is a lousy beer for "Black and Tans" Ales work best-- Wonder if 'Fat tire" does well ?

How well do you know your beer?
Q. Just like Guiness has that little ball of gas in the can that releases when the can is opened, there is another beer that has the same type of release but the little ball is attached to the bottom of the can. It is not free to float to the top. Anyone know what type beer it is. I checked Murphy's and Bass and they are not it. Any help would be great!

Why is the beer coming out of my kegerator so foamy?
Q. I just got it. I put it together, hooked up a keg of bass ale, and set all the pressures where they are supposed to be. Every beer that comes out is mostly foam. I tried running about 6 big cups out, thinking maybe it would straighten up, but it didn't. Any input is appreciated. thanks Kevin
